Empty Spaces

"Behind every beautiful thing, there's been some kinda pain".. Bob Dylan

Staring into water with the shadows of trees made me think of the infinity of life and loss.

From this came the idea of the project which became "Empty Spaces"

I was drawn into the shapes and textures of nature and how sometimes something beautiful can also feel sad.

Once the photographs were completed and the words written, I worked closely with a very talented musician - Hugh Dillon - who wrote the music to accompany them.

"Empty Spaces" was born.

This is my first foray into this medium, I hope you enjoy it.
